Ron used to be a ‘sparky’ (electrician) – still his favourite job – and a schoolteacher before becoming a full-time radio announcer at the local radio station in Wurrumiyanga. His parents both passed away a long time ago, but he knows they would have been proud of him becoming a mojo. Ron wants to tell stories about the history of the Tiwi Islands, as well as the time a man from Melbourne came up and introduced the community to Australian Rules Football – a sport that Ron and his community are very passionate about.
